Several years ago, I was playing soccer in the state playoffs for North Carolina. I went up for a header and got hit from two different angles. When I fell, I fell from about five to six feet right onto my left hip bone. I was immediately taken to the hospital where I stayed overnight for tests and multiple X-rays. I was diagnosed with a twisted pelvis and they recommended that I have surgery to correct it. My family did not have the means to pay for the surgery at that point
